8. Your opinion about your body and how comfortable you are with it:

  • Learning to like my body has been a difficult and ongoing process that’s still not been completely successful. Most of the time though, I honestly just do not give a fuck. You waste so much of your teen years being insecure that by the time you hit your 20s you’re exhausted. So here I am, exhausted and tired of insecurities. That’s why I say fuck it, I really just don’t care. How comfortable am I? I’d probably go to a nude beach. And I don’t feel insecure about being naked before, during, or after sex. 

9. A problem that you have had:

  • OCD. It’s not severe (actually, it’s probably relatively mild) but I hate it when it stops me from doing/eating normal things (most of my OCD revolves around food) and I hate it even more whenever someone makes fun of it, unknowingly of course.

10. Where would you like to move to/visit?

  • Everywhere, really. But I’d like to move to Paris some day. And I have to go to South Africa to see the great white sharks some time too :)

11. The type of boyfriend/girlfriend you are looking for:

  • Well, I’m in a relationship right now so I’m not looking but if I were, I don’t thinking I’d be ”looking” at all, if that makes sense. Whatever happens, happens. I think really pursuing a boyfriend is kind of desperate and will probably get you nowhere but a one-way ticket to depression town lol. I think it just needs to happen organically is all I’m saying.

2011: The Year of Sex, Drugs, & Rock and Roll

1. What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?

I went to NY Fashion week, I left school, I tried some weird drugs, I went to a music festival, I made some crazy decisions. But mostly what I did in 2011 that I’d never done before is that I lived a year that ended positively. I look back on 2011 and smile. 


2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? 

Yes, for the first time ever I kept my New Year’s resolution. I know what my resolution for next year will be. It’s a simple one. :)


3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Yes, my sister had another baby boy on May 31st. <3

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Fortunately, no

5. What countries did you visit?

Umm America lol

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?

Well, I guess I’d like to leave the country! haha But really, I want to get back into school and feel more confident with what I’m doing with my life. But there is very little I lacked in 2011.

7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

March 23rd because it was terrifying, April 30th because it was a first, & November 11th because it was great

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? 

Gaining some truly amazing friends and blossoming into a more complete, happier person.

9. What was your biggest failure?

Probably leaving school but you know what, I wouldn’t take back the experiences from this year for anything in the world.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Umm not really. I got a really deep bruise on my knee and some regular sickness. Nothing major, thank goodness!

11. What was the best thing you bought?

Umm I don’t know.

12. Where did most of your money go? 

Clothes, food, fun, booze, & friends! :)

13. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

The music festival I went to, the road trips to ohio, hanging out with my awesome friends, all the concerts I went to, THE WORLD SERIESSSS!!!, being with evan, secret santa with all the besties, & this New Year’s trip I’m about to go on :)

14. What song will always remind you of 2011? 

All the songs by Sleigh Bells, “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by Def Leppard, “Shake Me Down” by Cage the Elephant, “I’ve Got Friends” by Manchester Orchestra, MGMT, Flaming Lips, MUFORD AND SONS OMG, Born This Way, so many..

a lot thinner which is a mindfuck for me

I guess I should’ve spent my time more productively :/

18. How did you spend Christmas?

I had 4 Christmases. The first two were the best! 1. Secret Santa with besties, 2. Christmas with my best gurlfranns! lol, 3. Actual Christmas on Christmas day with my family, 4. “Second” Christmas when my sister and her hubby & kids came into town.

19. What was your favorite TV program?

Umm workaholics, glee, american horror story, intervention, new girl, family guy (forever), south park (forever), it’s always sunny, jersey shore, etc. :)

22. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? 

Nope, I don’t hate anyone!


23. What was the best book you read? 

Tina Fey’s Bossypants lol so good!

24. What was your greatest musical discovery? 

OH GOD. cage the elephant, mumford, manchester orchestra, lana del rey, mike posner, darius rucker, nicki minaj, janelle monae, avett brothers, pretty reckless, sleigh bells, fleet foxes,…..i could go on but you get the point lol

A good time

harry potter!


28. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 

I spent a good portion of my birthday this year crying lol but my next birthday which is on January 1, 2012, will be way better!!!!!


29. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? 

MONEY


30. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?

Lots of black, a skinny leg, rock n roll, 1980s, tumblr (lol). i had fun.

Can’t pick just one! But I did meet Mike, Eric, Evan (my now boyfriend), Bigby, Taylor, & Cody who are all great guys.

36. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011: 

1. It’s wrong to judge and if you judge, you’ll go through what the people you judge go through and finally understand. 2. Sex is awesome. 3. Music cures. 4. You really can’t care what anyone thinks about you. You’ve got to be yourself and the people who are attracted to that true version of yourself will surround you and reflect who you are. 5. You can’t keep people around you who you can’t stand. 6. Lying is always, always terrible.
